I reached way back into the archives for this one. I took this shot over 15 years ago. This little boy has since graduated from college, managed a couple of trendy coffee shops, played drums in a rock band and is still moving forward, head down, trying to figure it all out.

(This is a haiku written on Woolacombe Beach in North Devon - great surfing beach. We - my son and I - weren't sure if it was still alive or not but it was huge.)
The smallest thing, in contrast, always impels me to move forward, yearning to catch just another, just one more, glimpse in the magnitude of this true beauty ...
