Anonymous...Wow..The last time I was at the Alger County fair I was in the 4H club! (Maaany years ago.) Sadly, I'm not sure when I'll be back to the U.P. again...most likely not this summer.
The deer is tilting, slightly to his right. The old post prevents him from falling all the way over. The horseshoe players do rest their beers on his back when it's time to toss, none of them seem to notice until, no it couldn't be. Is he, drunk?
Squarehead- I think you are correct! Another tell-tale sign of deer intoxication exhibited in this photo is that his antlers aren't screwed on straight.
